The Bawnboy Loop is in Carrick East forest. The start of the walk is approximately 1km outside Bawnboy on the N87 Swanlinbar Road.

Limited parking is available at the forest entrance. 

Follow the blue waymarkers through the forest which starts with a climb of 130 metres to the viewing area to Brackley Lough and the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark.
